Breast Surgeon
Dr. Mindi Beahm received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her residency training in General Surgery at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Breahm has been providing quality surgical care at Independence Surgical Clinic since 2013. Her main practice emphasis is on the diagnosis and management of benign and malignant breast disease. She belives in an interdisciplinary approach to the management of breast cancer, incorporating the desires of her patients as well as the input of medical and radiation oncologists, genetic counselors, lymphedema specialists, and the breast navigator in the specific care for each individual.
Her areas of interest include benign breast problems, breast cancer surgery, benign breast surgery, risk assessment for breast cancer, Hidden Scar® breast surgery, breast pain, breast masses and fibrocystic breast problems.
